Remove all hair trapped in your brush on a weekly basis; this can be done by using a thin comb and a pair of scissors. Then, create a cleaning solution (1x shampoo + 1x water) and spray it on your brush once a month. After spraying the cleaning solution, remove excess buildup with a clean, damp cloth. Then rinse with water to remove the solution and press using a cushion to release water. Finally, leave the brush bristle-side down for 24 hours to dry.
